I loved my GI Joe Conquest, but almost the first week that I got it back in 1986ish I lost the little wings (canards, as I was to learn they were called). It was still fun to play with back then, but it did loose some of it’s ‘shine’. Of course there was no ebay or 3D printing back then, so in the closet it went for a very long time. I got it out a few months ago and set out to return this fine jet to fighting condition once again, but using modern technology. Now I could have spend $20 a piece for each piece, but it just didn’t feel right paying that much. So, I made these replicas using 3D printing. I have enjoyed displaying and playing with my ‘new’ Conquest…and I thought you might want to share in the fun too. Therefore, I’m offering this set of 3D printed canards. They fit directly into the slots that the original ones went in. They look almost identical to the original parts at a fraction of the cost. If none is specified, black will be used. The canards are 3D printed from PLA that closely matches the original color. The details match almost exactly with the OG part, but this is 3D printing, so slight imperfections might be present (this material can be fine tuned like sanding or filing and/ or painted).
