This listing is for a pair of reinforcement/repair kits for fixing vintage Star Wars X-Wing Fighters that have broken wings. This is for a pair of 3D printed repair parts only – no actual X-Wing parts. I have 3 options: 2 thin reinforcers – these reinforce cracks or wings that have clean breaks2 thick reinforcers – these will actually support wing parts that are missing plastic where they should join1 thin and 1 thick reinforcer – you get one of each type. These are specifically designed for the top wing (that has the « T »). In my experience, I’ve never found a broken bottom wing – if you have an X-Wing that needs a reinforcer for a bottom wing, please message me and I will make one. These can be used on standard X-Wings as well as Battle Damaged. I imagine they would work on POTF X-Wings as well, but have not tested them as I don’t have any POTF X-Wings. These can be flipped and used from either side – though one side is smoother from the 3D printing process. So any single reinforcer can be used for either side. One reinforcer will fix one wing, so with these kits, you will be able to repair two wings. (see photo)Glue and clamp the reinforcer in place.Let cure for the amount of time recommended by the glue manufacturer you use.Reassemble the X-Wing.Relive your childhood with your renewed X-Wing Fighter! These repair parts do not impact the function of opening and closing the wings – everything should work as normal. They are also very well hidden when reassembled. If you are repairing to resell – we hope that you disclose that. About 3D Printed items: They may have minor visual defects from the printing process. This is normal and does not impact function.
